Welcome to issue two of Food and Wine– a taste of the Goulburn-Murray.

With such a relaxed feel in the air as long summer days stretch into balmy nights, we’ve embraced the seasonal shift, covering everything from picnic fare through to the best wines for Christmas. We’ve even taken a look at some Christmas table settings to get you in the mood.

There are plenty of recipes in this issue, all listed under our recipe tab (right), which you can search through, with plenty of ideas from our first issue as well.

We are also offering one lucky reader the chance to win a bottle of Moet for the Christmas table – it’s pretty easy, all you have to do is join our free Food and Wine Club, then sit back and reap the benefits.   This issue is packed with great stories on where to source the freshest local produce, as well as great wines and wineries, restaurants and cafes to visit, Iraqi cuisine, travelling gourmet feature on France, books to give away and a whole lot more. Don’t forget to secure your subscription – it’s cheap and it’s easy and would make a good Christmas present as well!

So, pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy this issue of Food and Wine – a taste of Goulburn-Murray.
